Mr. Vu Dinh Vinh, construction worker of the Red River Bridge said: My house is right in An Duc commune, Quynh Phu district, not too far from the construction site, but I only arrange to visit my house once a week. I live and rest right at the shack arranged by the Company, together with other workers to focus on speeding up the construction progress.
Mr. Tran Van Ninh, technical officer of Phuong Anh Trading and Construction Investment Co., Ltd. said: Since the commencement of construction until now, the contractor has faced a lot of difficulties when it has to speed up the construction progress while meeting the requirements of the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition, the price of gasoline and raw materials has increased recently, causing the project to be capitalized, making it even more difficult for the contractor. However, under the close direction of the provincial leaders as well as the departments, branches and localities, the project is still ensuring the progress according to the plan; so far it has reached over 60% of volume. The construction unit is racing against the time to strive to complete the construction and the Red River bridge on the occasion of April 30, 2023.
The project of a coastal road route through Thai Binh province has a total length of over 43km. In addition to 9km that the ground has been handed over and the construction is underway for phase 1. The remaining section is in Thai Thuy and Tien Hai districts. With a length of 34km, up to now, mold construction and roadbed have been completed for over 25km. Currently, the construction unit is Phuong Anh Trade and Construction Investment Co., Ltd., focusing on maximizing manpower and means for construction at intersections with national highway 39, national highway 37 in Thai Thuy district and intersection with provincial road DT.458, section crossing Lan 1 bridge, Lan 2 bridge and intersection with road 221A in Tien Hai district.

Each construction team and group will undertake different items, thereby contributing to speeding up the overall progress of the whole project. In addition, due to the influence of hot weather, the contractor rearranged the time of shifts and working teams to ensure work efficiency and safety at work while avoiding the hot sun to protect health of workers.
Recently, the two districts of Thai Thuy and Tien Hai have focused the most on the site clearance to hand over to the construction unit. However, at present, project investment enterprises and contractors are facing certain difficulties in implementing a number of other important items. “Currently, there are still problems with some additional ground locations on the route, the contractor wants the Provincial People's Committee to continue to pay attention to directing the two districts of Thai Thuy and Tien Hai to soon hand over the ground for project construction. Once the site is available, the contractor will focus on human resources, materials and equipment to carry out the construction to ensure the schedule "- Mr. Vu Van Toan added.
