Thai Binh attracted 5 big projects with a total registered investment capital of about 600 million USD

Provincial leaders witnessed the signing of agreements of the investors.

Comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended and directed the conference. The members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the provincial National Assembly delegation and representatives of leaders of relevant departments, sectors, units and localities attended the conference.

On behalf of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee awarded the investment registration certificates to secondary investors in the Economic Zone including: Lotte Vietnam Co., Ltd., Greenworks Vietnam Co., Ltd., Jeanson Industrial Limited; awarded the investment policy decisions to International Fresh Vegetables and Fruits Production and Supply Joint Stock Company in Thai Binh (TH Group) and Bidgroup Joint Stock Company. The total registered investment value of these 5 projects is about 600 million USD.

Mr. Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation awarded certificates of being the first, second and third investors in the Economic Zone to the companies respectively being Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd., Greenworks Vietnam Co., Ltd., Jeanson Industrial Limited; awarded the certificate of being an investor in high-tech agricultural development in Thai Binh to International Fresh Vegetables and Fruits Production and Supply Joint Stock Company in Thai Binh and awarded the certificate of being an investor in modern urban development in Thai Binh to Bidgroup Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council presented flowers to congratulate 5 investors.

Also at the conference, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Council and People’s Committee and representatives of some departments, sectors and units witnessed two investors namely Green I Park Joint Stock Company and Nam Tai Group PTE LTD signing a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.

Provincial leaders awarded the certificates and presented flowers to congratulate the investors.

On behalf of the investors awarded certificates at the conference, Mr. Kung Yung Sheng, General Director of Lotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Mr. Wu Shui Sheng, General Director of Greenworks Vietnam Co., Ltd. thanked the provincial leaders for paying attention and supporting the enterprises in carrying out the project investment procedures. The investors believed that Thai Binh is chosen to invest in projects because the province has strengths in geographical location, labor resources, and synchronous infrastructure; at the same time, they believed that the project, when put into operation, will contribute to promoting local economic development, creating jobs and stable income for thousands of employees; committed to implement the project in strict accordance with the registered progress, strictly comply with the law of the state and protect the environment.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee shared some information about the investment attraction situation of the province; efforts in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic and the companionship and removal of difficulties for enterprises in the province to develop over the past time; result of socio-economic development of the province in the first 8 months of 2021.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized that this conference had an important meaning, demonstrating the determination of the province in economic zone development, socio-economic development, striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20^th Provincial Party Congress. It is the innovation of thinking and action in attracting investment, especially attracting foreign investment with big FDI projects in Thai Binh; concretizing the determination to build and improve the investment and business environment of the province, to accompany and remove difficulties for enterprises to feel secure in investing and developing in the area.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee thanked the investors for trusting and choosing Thai Binh as an investment destination and wished that the projects would be successful, inspire, spread, attract other big projects both domestically and abroad to invest in Thai Binh in the coming time. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the role and capacity of the infrastructure investor of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park in implementing investment in industrial park infrastructure, actively accompanying with the province to attract big investment projects to invest in the Economic Zone.

To help the projects be put into operation soon, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the investors to implement the project in strict accordance with the registered progress, attach importance to environmental protection, promote production and business efficiency and have plan to expand the investment scale of the projects in the future.

Aimed at supporting and accompanying with the investors, the Provincial People’s Committee committed to focus the resources to invest synchronously in infrastructure; continue to reform administrative procedures, improve the business investment environment, improve the provincial competitiveness index (PCI); promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, accompany and create the most favorable conditions in accordance with the regulations of the law. Assign the provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Parks authority, departments, sectors, People’s Committees of districts and Thai Binh city to focus on doing well the site clearance to timely hand over the land to investors; ensure stability, security and order; propagandize the people to agree, support the project to be implemented on schedule and promote high efficiency.

With the care and companionship of the province, the support of all classes of people, the determination of investors, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee believed that the investment projects in Thai Binh would succeed and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province in the coming time.
