Thai Binh promotes digital transformation to serve socio-economic development tasks
In the morning of August 26, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to evaluate the results of digital transformation and the project to develop the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication for the national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, vision to 2030 in the province in the first months of the year, implementing tasks of the last months of 2022.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee (CEO) of provincial transformation, Team Leader of the Provincial Project 06 chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrades in the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, together with members of the Steering Committee on the number of provinces and members of the provincial Project 06 working group.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Over the past time, Thai Binh province has promoted solutions in digital transformation as well as implemented the project on developing the application of population data, electronic identification and authentication for national digital transformation. Thereby, it has contributed to the socio-economic development of the province. However, in the implementation process, besides the achieved results, there are still a lot of difficulties, shortcomings and limitations. Therefore, he suggested that the majors focus on discussing and re-evaluating the achieved results, analyzing the causes and limitations to promote effective solutions in digital transformation as well as implementing the Project 06 of the province in the near future.

According to the report of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee, in the first six months of this year, digital transformation achieved many results in all nine areas including: digital awareness, digital institutions, digital infrastructure, digital platform, and multiplication, digital force, cybersecurity, digital government, digital economy and digital society. Especially in digital government with the highlight is the dedicated data transmission network that connects to 100% of provincial departments, agencies, People's Committees at district, city and commune levels in service of regular work. In addition, in the field of digital government, it also effectively implements the provision of online public services, implements electronic work records, deploys the Provincial Information and Reporting System, and effectively operates the Information Operations Center (IOC). In the digital economy, 100% of enterprises have effectively put into use e-invoices and actively participated in e-commerce transactions. For the field of digital society, it has been strongly and extensively deployed in the fields of education, health care, insurance and security.
Delegates also listened to the report and discussed the results of the implementation of Project No. 06 on developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication for national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025 , vision to 2030 in the province. Especially the content on providing applications and digital services related to population information, solving administrative procedures, providing online public services and developing digital citizenship.
