Thai Binh: The value of industrial and commercial production in the first 9 months of 2021 increased fairly

Total retail level of goods and revenue from consumption services in the first 9 months of 2021 were estimated at VND 36,559 billion, increasing by 7.2% over the same period in 2020. In which, commercial revenue was estimated at VND 32,574 billion, increasing by 9%; stay service was estimated at VND 82 billion, decreasing by 5.5%; food and drink service was estimated at VND 1,953 billion, decreasing by 2.9%; tourism and travel were estimated at VND 1 billion; decreasing by 86.6%; other consumer services were estimated at VND 1,949 billion, decreasing by 8.6% over the same period in 2020.

In the first 9 months of 2021, export turnover was estimated at USD 1,490 million, increasing by 46% over the same period in 2020. Import turnover was estimated at USD 1,316 million, increasing by 42% over the same period in 2020.

Besides, there were still difficulties and limitations such as some production and business sectors have not yet recovered, recovered slowly such as drink and beverage production sector; production of headphones, production of sanitary ware, steel; Investment in new construction and renovation of the power grid system was still slow in comparison with the planning; Many activities of industrial encouragement, commercial encouragement and trade promotion have not been implemented.

In the last 3 months of 2021, along with the good implementation of the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, the industry and trade sector will actively implement the option of developing the industrial cluster in the period of 2021 - 2030 and the programs and projects on industrial encouragement and commercial encouragement. At the same time, reviewing administrative procedures to ensure quick and timely creation of favorable conditions for enterprises. Thai Binh strives that in the fourth quarter of 2021, industrial production value will increase by 17%; total retail level of goods and service revenue will increase by 8.8% over the same period in 2020.
