Thaibinh Medical College signed a training cooperation agreement with the Association of Italian Universities
In the morning of 22 October (Italian time), comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and the provincial delegation had a working session with the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy and witnessed the signing ceremony of training cooperation agreement between Thaibinh Medical College and the Association of Italian Universities.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, there were Ambassador Duong Hai Hung; Mr. Alberto Ortolani, General Secretary of the Association of Italian Universities.
Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and members of the provincial delegation worked with the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy.
At the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee thanked the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy for connecting the working delegation of Thai Binh in deploying the activities of investment promotion and trade promotion in Italy. The information on socio-economic situation and development orientations of Thai Binh, especially the desire to attract FDI investment to accelerate economic growth, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee wished that Ambassador Duong Hai Hung as well as the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy would continue to pay attention and support Thai Binh in attracting Italian investors to invest in Thai Binh; at the same time, support to promote the export of strong products of Thai Binh such as agricultural products, seafood, garments, ceramics, handicrafts... to the Italian market in particular and Europe in general.
Ambassador Duong Hai Hung said that in 2023 we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations of Vietnam - Italy, so the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy will promote the organization of economic, cultural and tourist exchange activities… between the two countries. Informing the delegation about the cooperation situation between the two countries, about the traditional friendship relationship and the affection of the Italian people for Vietnam, the Ambassador congratulated Thai Binh province for successfully organizing the economic cooperation forum with Toscana region and believed that many investors and enterprise of the region will go to survey in Thai Binh in the coming time.

Within the framework of the working program with the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Ambassador Duong Hai Hung witnessed the signing ceremony of the training cooperation agreement between Thaibinh Medical College and the Association of Italian Universities. According to this MOU, both parties agreed to cooperate in teaching Italian to students of Thaibinh Medical College who want to study in Italy; the courses are divided into four levels (A1, A2, B1, B2). The Association of Italian Universities ensures the recruitment of teachers, provides teaching materials and organizes exams for the internationally recognized Italian language certificate at the end of the course. Thaibinh Medical College is responsible for recruiting students, arranging time and place at the college to provide information on scholarship and overseas study programs in Italy. The Association of Italian Universities will propose to Thaibinh Medical College suitable universities to cooperate and receive the students.
The working delegation of the province gave souvenirs to Ambassador Duong Hai Hung.
Previously, the working delegation of the province had a meeting and discussed with Trade Counselor Nguyen Duc Thanh, Vietnam Trade Office in Italy about the work of attracting Italian FDI enterprises to invest in Thai Binh and promoting trade for enterprises in Thai Binh to access and promote exports of goods to the Italian market.
