Total aquatic product output in 10 months is estimated at 236,800 tons

In the first 10 months of the year, the situation of exploitation and aquaculture in the month developed relatively stable. The aquatic product production of the province continues to promote its strengths in coastal exploitation and aquaculture, maintain high-tech shrimp raising models.

The total aquatic product output of the province in the first 10 months of the year is estimated at 236,800 tons, increasing by 3.3% over the same period. The exploitation output is estimated at 85,800 tons, increasing by 3.1% over the same period, in which fish reached 57,100 tons, increasing by 3.1%; shrimp reached 1,800 tons, increasing by 2.6%; other aquatic products reached 26,800 tons, increasing by 3% over the same period. Aquaculture output is estimated at 151,000 tons, increasing by 3.4% over the same period.

The agricultural sector recommends that aquaculture households regularly reinforce the surrounding walls of raising regions, raising cages, and anchor rope systems; have a reasonable nutritional regime to prevent and avoid the effects of heat, rain and flood.
