Total fishery output in October 2021 increased by over 8.6% over the same period in 2020

Up to now, more than 10.6 million breeders have been produced; in which oyster reached 10.5 million heads; barnacle reached 70 million heads; carp reached 24.5 million heads; amur reached 33.5 million heads; tilapia reached 22.1 million heads...

The localities focused on aquaculture at fish cages on the river. There are 593 fish cages and rafts in the whole province, equivalent to a volume of 65,052 m³, 7 cages higher than the same period last year.

In the last months of the year, in order to fulfill the set targets, the agricultural sector continues to grasp and monitor the situation of aquaculture production and fishery exploitation in the province; inspect and control the situation of breeding production; review the planning of cage fish farming on the river, oyster breeding on coastal tide area; situation of breeding aquatic animals in water. At the same time, remove difficulties and obstacles of farmers and fishermen; review the production and business establishments of breeding, feed and products for processing the aquaculture environment in the province.
